Elizabeth Anderson, MS, LPCC
Mental Health Counselor
Elizabeth Anderson is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a passion for supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and life’s most challenging moments. With a background in working with first responders, at-risk youth, and the LGBTQIA+ community, Elizabeth is known to bring calm to a panic situation. She has a compassionate presence to every session—meeting clients exactly where they are.

Originally from Fargo, ND, Elizabeth moved to Bismarck in 2016 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from the University of Mary. Her experience spans work with children, teens, and adults facing symptoms like depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and identity-related stress. She also has unique experience supporting survivors of human trafficking and youth involved in the juvenile justice system.

Elizabeth believes in honoring the vulnerability her clients bring into the room. She uses a blend of expressive and evidence-based therapies—integrating Brainspotting, TF-CBT, the Flash Technique, and experiential modalities like play, art, and sand tray therapy—to help clients build confidence, cope with emotion, and make sense of their stories.

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll likely find Elizabeth spending time with friends and family, hosting game nights, or walking her beloved pug mix, Tinkerbell.
