Haley Schmitt,
MS, LAPC

Mental Health Counselor

Haley Schmitt is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor who brings a calm, culturally responsive, and strengths-based approach to her work with first responders, adults, and children. With experience in inpatient psychiatric care, Haley supports clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

Haley integrates talk therapy, expressive arts, play-based techniques, and Brainspotting to meet each client’s unique needs. She is passionate about walking alongside individuals—from young children to adults—as they find healing, process experiences, and build resilience. Her therapy style centers on respect for each person’s identity, values, and lived experience.

Originally from Bismarck, Haley earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from North Dakota State University and her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She believes that with the right support, people can reconnect with their strengths and move forward with confidence.

​

When she’s not in the office, Haley enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Jasper and Duke, and being with her family.
