Nicole Renner, MS, LPCC

Mental Health Counselor

Nicole Renner is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who specializes in working with first responders, military personnel, and their families. As both a military spouse and the daughter of a firefighter, Nicole brings a deep personal understanding of the demands, stressors, and sacrifices that come with lives of service. Her approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and a strong belief in the resilience of those who serve.

Nicole provides a calm, confidential space for clients to process trauma, manage stress, and navigate the unique challenges tied to high-intensity roles. She has worked with both adults and children facing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, grief, low self-worth, PTSD and suicidal ideation.

Her approach is flexible and collaborative, integrating evidence-based techniques like Brainspotting, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Nicole thoughtfully tailors each session—selecting techniques that align with her client’s goals, cultural background, and communication style—always honoring their unique experiences and strengths.

Nicole has received extensive training specific to the needs of first responders and military communities, and she is passionate about walking alongside those who spend their lives in service to others.

Outside of her clinical work, Nicole enjoys time spent with her two dogs, Bruno and Millie. She finds peace outdoors—especially near the water—and values time with friends, family, and nature.
